Yearbook Camp

So I am totally a yearbook nerd. I'm at camp with the Yearbook Adviser and 12 students and we are working on our theme development today. When I was in High School the theme and the cover were closely guarded secrets. We practically made our staffers take an oath of silence about the cover until the book was passed out. But not today! We use our theme and cover as a marketing tool to get kids to buy the book.

This is a mock-up I drew in Photoshop during the workshop today and a cover artist has taken it tonight to work on it and make it perfect. We are going for a contemporary grunge look with the theme: We are SUMMIT. Kind of a we are Marshall thing with the unity and team spirit. All the words are positive words that describe the students at our school. They are the things we are. We are strong. We are proud. We are loyal.

What do you think. We need some feedback. We want your opinion. We have two days left of camp and we want this book to be one that really captures our school year. We want students to buy it and love it. Comment here or send us an e-mail. Seriously, we want to know if you like it or not and what you want to see both on the cover and inside the book.
