Cuddly Kenzie

This afternoon I got to photograph Kenzie in Fort Worth. She's 15 days old today and she is super sweet. Her parents are amazing and her Aunt totally rocks. Mom and Aunt had so many great props that this is just a little sneak peek. There are way more photos to post later :)

First, Look at that smile. She's a cutie!
And I love how she holds her hands close to her face when she sleeps. So sweet.
A family portrait. You may remember Sam and Jeremiah from their wedding photos May 2010. Now they have a perfect little family :)
 With daddy...and mommy.
These are Kenzie's protectors. Jeremiah's mom passed away before Kenzie was born and we know she's watching over her from heaven while Trixie watches over her here on earth. By the way, Trixie is an amazing dog. Look how she's got her paw just touching Kenzie. We totally did not pose that.
The last two for now. She's got some big blue beautiful eyes and she was actually pretty content laying in daddy's arm like that. The suitcases were Aunt Beth's Idea. She might have to become my stylist. She rocks.
I hope you love them, I'll have the rest edited for you soon! Love you guys!

Beautiful Brandy!

This evening I got to spend some time with Brandy and her parents. They came to the studio for a fun senior portrait session and I think we got some great photos. Here's a peek :)
Fist we went outside to my new favorite shooting place. I love these glass blocks.
We walked around the corner and found this off white wall where we had a little fun climbing in the windows, showing off the boots, and letting the wind blow her hair and skirt.
Then we went into the studio and played with my new floor.

I love how this one shows off her class ring and beautiful eyes.
A few in black and white
A few more on the white background.
 Brandy was an awesome model!
Thanks for choosing me to photograph your Senior Portraits. I hope you love them!

Jessica & Joe are Married!

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing Jessica and Joe's wedding at St Vincent's Cathedral in Bedford and the Dallas World Aquarium. They booked me 18 months ago and I've been looking forward to their wedding ever since. I was not disappointed :) Totally amazing.

Here's a little sneak peek.
So happy at the church.
 Fun at the Aquarium.
 Rings.
Congratulations Jessica and Joe! I'll have the rest of your images ready soon.

Baby scrapbook page

So today I was just posting my scrapbook pages in the galleries I post in when I noticed the home page at Plain Digital Wrapper. My layout was there. I won layout of the week! How cool is that? I'm on the creative team for Artgal Style and I made this layout last week.
Here it is a little bigger :) The photo was from a newborn session I did in July and the kit is called Georgia Moon. I loved all the cardboard pieces in this kit and it really let me show off Hayden and his new baby brother, Logan.
If you want to book a sweet newborn session or you are interested in having some custom scrapbook pages made, contact me.

Haley and Judson are married!

Here's a little sneak peek of Haley and Jud's Fort Worth Wedding last weekend. Their ceremony was at Broadway Baptist Church and the reception was at the Ashton Depot. Gorgeous venues! It was a super fun day!
First...the rings and a detail of the dress.
Haley walks down the aisle with her father.
Jud sees her and starts to tear up. I love this part.
 The ring exchange.
Some alone time between the ceremony and reception
 Love those stained glass windows.
First dance. So happy!
Cake! The mirror was neat. I like the reflection so you can see both their faces.
 The getaway!
They had several different cocktail napkins...I think this one says it all.
Congratulations Haley and Jud! I should have all your images ready for you in a few weeks.

Emily - Fort Worth Bridal Portraits

I'm so glad I can finally post Emily's bridal portraits because I really love how they turned out. She decided last minute that she wanted to take some and we had a blast shooting all around downtown Fort Worth. Here are my favorites.
Yes, she wore cowboy boots :)
She's gorgeous. Just look at those eyes.
 So much fun!
After we shot in the studio we braved the heat outside for a few shots with some bricks and with the courthouse behind her.
Then we stopped at the church where she would get married in just three days.
And finally, we actually were going to Station 2 when I saw this cool old building with glass block windows and we took the last of her photos here. I love this location and I'm going back...soon I hope!
Emily you are a gorgeous bride! Thanks for choosing Ellman Photography!
