Family Portrait Time!

It's that time of year when the parks in Dallas/Fort Worth are full of families getting photos done for their holiday cards, and I love the families that choose me to capture some special memories for them. The last few weeks have been filled with sessions and I've been editing like crazy, but I wanted to try to share a few from Jessica and Gregg's family session over the weekend. Such a fun family. The two older kids are heading off to college next year while T is turning two.

We actually set up the session to get some two year old photos of this sweet little man. Love his smiles...he was full of energy and loved being outside for the photos.

 I had the kids all help me get mom and dad to smile for a photo too :)

 Love these smiles and cuddles.

 But most of all I love this...so cute. Once he got started running under the "bridge" he didn't want to stop.

Fort Worth Family Portraits

I love this family...that is all.

I think I've been taking their family photos for about 5 or 6 years now...maybe more and this year they added a sweet puppy to the mix.

 And what a sweet dog she is...seriously...this dog was smiling for photos. Although the outtakes where she's licking Ethan in the face make me laugh.

Taylor and the kids were awesome and made this the easiest photo session ever.  We got so many great photos with everyone looking at the camera and smiling.

 We did try to get one without the dog and Taylor totally photo-bombed it. Really...the dog was not supposed to be in this one and she popped up at the last minute.

Family portrait time

Yesterday I spent about an hour with Lane and his parents taking some fun family photo before it got to hot. We've had a string of 100-degree days so we met super early to avoid the heat and it was a perfect little session at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Here's a peek.

Just look at this little cutie. Adorable.

 He's got the cutest little smile and look at his big blue flirty eyes. This kid is going to break some hearts when he grows up.

Bennett

Love this sweet little man and his family. Bennett is three so it was time to take some photos :)

 It was a little chilly while we were taking photos but Bennett was a trooper and some of the little candids make me smile. Love this one where he was telling us his hands were cold. Such a little cutie.

Family portrait season

This morning I spent an hour with a sweet family and we made some pretty photos. Here's a peek :)

 I love this little rock bridge, the kids loved climbing on it too.

 Hadley was an awesome model...

and Bobby wowed me with his smile and freckles. I love freckles.

 This series makes me happy. So much joy.

 Hadley and Bobby wanted to do a jumping photo before we finished up...who am I not to let that happen? :)  They really got some air!

Logan is 2!

I spent the evening with Tristan...he's 13 days of sweetness. I think I'm in love.

 ...and a Cubs fan, but he has his own bat from the Baseball Hall of Fame.

 Mom and dad met in Chicago and love the city and their sports teams.
