Pamela and Dennis are Married!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the most wonderful couple, Pamela and Dennis. They were amazing and beautiful and their wedding was absolutely fabulous. I've photographed some pretty things in some pretty places but Pam, her wedding gown and Christ the King Catholic Church were breathtaking. Her wedding planner Emily Youngblood of Blessed Unions was wonderful to to work with and the Church Coordinator Colleen was awesome. Here's a little sneak peek for you :)

Check out her gown and their rings!
So Pamela's dad is a videographer for a local TV station and he was doing double duty all evening as interviewer for the wedding video and proud father of the bride. Her wedding video is going to be amazing. I love this shot its so behind the scenes fun.
Just a few from the ceremony. I love the look on the Dennis' face as he watches his bride walk down the aisle.
A kiss as they leave the Sanctuary. Didn't I tell you it was gorgeous? Christ the King has the most beautiful sanctuary I've seen it just glows golden.
Congratulations Dennis and Pam! You guys are gorgeous! I'll get your wedding edited and the rest of the photos online for you soon!

Danielle + Will

Will and Danielle were married yesterday afternoon in a sweet, simple ceremony in Alvarado. Emily and I were there and it was simply beautiful.
She had a little help from her mom and daughter getting ready. I love the dress!
Both Bride and Groom prayed with the minister before the ceremony. Their ceremony was all about God and family and it was inspiring.
I love the way everyone is looking at her.
In a funny moment during the ceremony the minister accidentally said, "Do you Will take Brenda?" Too bad we can't see will face in the photo because I bet it is priceless. Danielle is laughing so hard and honestly is was super cute and totally lightened up the moment.
The kiss and the personalized vows. :) I will spend every day for the rest of my life making you happy. Simple, honest and wonderful.
Danielle with her daughter and the new family.
Aren't they lovely.
 My favorite.
But the greatest of these is love.
Congratulations Will and Danielle! I'll have the rest of your photos edited for you soon.

Rachel and Jason are married!

Rachel and Jason were married this afternoon in a beautiful ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel. Here's a sneak peek at their photos :)

Just Married! I love my new assistant He was shooting the wide shot while I photographed tighter. We're a good team. Thanks Scott! Look how happy they are and I love that they did their bubble exit in daylight with the chapel behind them. So pretty.
And some alone time before the reception.
Congratulations! We'll see you at the reception in a few minutes. :)

Rachel and Jason are getting married!

Tomorrow! I've been waiting on this one for a while and I am super excited for the wedding. Want to know why? They are a beautiful couple with four kids in the ceremony. Enough said. I love weddings where kids are involved. Why? Because they are so cute all dressed up like tiny adults and you never know what they are going to do. It's unpredictable and fun and always makes for great photos :)

Like I said. Kids are fun. Right when I got there to the rehearsal the boys ran up to the altar and started posing. They are ready for tomorrow! And Mikaela was a dancing queen...she's ready for the reception.
The wedding party waits patiently and a pretty photos of their hands in front of the cross. The light in Marty Leonard Chapel is gorgeous!
A cute moment when the minister told Jason he had to keep his eyes on Rachel and then he went into the first part of the ceremony as he asked Jason if he would buy Rachel an Aston Martin, and then asked Rachel if she would drive the Aston Martin, and finally asked her dad if he would pay for the Aston Martin. Fun couple plus fun minister equals a rehearsal full of laughter. I like that!
Like I said, smiles and laughter all night. My heart smiles when I see a couple so happy and in love.
My favorite photos from the night. "Who want to see them kiss?" His son jumps up, raises his hand and shouts "I do!" Yeah...me too :)
Before the end of the rehearsal I saw this sweet moment between Jason and his mom and daughter. Aww. I love this.
Congratulations Rachel and Jason! May tomorrow be the start of a wonderful journey full of joy.

Cullen and Jo are Married!

Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Cullen and Jo's reception. They were married in San Francisco the weekend before but had a Celebration Under the Stars with friends and family in Granbury, Texas. So much fun!

Here are the highlights.
The Rings. You know I love them. Here's to Years of Happiness Cullen and Jo.
We started the evening with a few romantic portraits behind the house...
and down on the dock.
Some details in daylight. Love these bright fun colors.
Ed and Trish welcome everyone to the party as Cullen and Jo look at each other. So cute. I love how the parents are looking at them but they are looking at each other. It makes my heart smile.
First dance. They are so happy. It makes me happy too!
So Cullen is an architect and he designed this house. It's really amazing inside and out. I think it's really appropriate and fun that they shared their first dance on the driveway of the "House That Cullen Built" surrounded by friends and family.
 Father-daughter and mother-son dances.
At sunset we went out on the deck for a quick photo. Gregg got the wide shot with the lake...
...and I took the close-up silhouette with the pretty colors. We're a good team. Same moment, two very different images.
Toasting time. Their expressions listening to the toasts by her sister and his brother are priceless.
Some details after dark. Love the light strung in the trees and the candles on the tables. The wedding planner Luis Carmona did a fabulous job. He kept everything running smoothly all night long.
Love these photos of Cullen and Jo in the lights. Romantic and fun and beautiful.
Sparkler Exit.
Finally. This might be my favorite photo of the day. Cullen's mom went to the feed store and asked if she could borrow their sign and they actually said yes. Seriously, sometimes all you have to do is ask. Anyway, the sign was at the entrance to the driveway and I couldn't resist taking this beautiful couple out there after dark for a few fun shots.
Congratulations Cullen and Jo. We hope you love your photos and we wish you years of happiness.
