Emily's Bat Mitzvah Party

Last night Emily celebrated her Bat Mitzvah with a gorgeous party at the Addison Conference Center. Cory from Cocktails and Caviar planned the event, Jeffrey Kollinger was in charge of the food and DJ P Love and Fenton kept the party rocking. I absolutely love working with all of them. Here's a quick peek.
 Love this girl!
Her parry was filled with color. From the moment you walked up to the venue the colors were amazing. The outside was lit with yellows and reds whch as so warm and inviting.
Then inside some blues and purples were mixed in. Gorgeous!
Emily had flowers everywhere. The flowers hanging from the ceiling and on the table were handmade and exquisite.

Emily goes up in the chair.
She's in the hanging flowers as streamers fall on her. So much fun.
Mom, Hannah and Dad in the chair.
Emily had a great hora, everyone was dancing and taking part in the traditional celebration.
 Emily danced all night.
You know I love the snowball dance. She also had a henna artist at her party.
Thanks for having me as your photographer! You did an amazing job at your Bat Mitzvah!

Emily's Bat Mitzvah

Last night Emily practiced her Torah portion for her Bat Mitzvah at Shearith Israel and I got to take some photos. I love going to the rehearsal because its typically the only time I can take photos of the kids reading from the Torah. I love how confident and self assured she was and I know she's going to do an amazing job leading the service Saturday. Here's a little peek at Emily's photos.
Do you know Emily? She's pretty awesome...and super strong, the Torah is not light.
A sweet moment with dad after the practiced the Tallit presentation.
 Practicing the reading.
 A sweet one with mom.
Two of my favorite parts of the service.
After the rehearsal we took some family portraits. Emily with her mom, dad and sister.

 Emily was an awesome model.
Love these two! Are you excited for her Bat Mitzvah Saturday? I am!
