Adrienne & Jordan are married!

Adrienne and Jordan were married in June at the Old Red Museum in Dallas and it was amazing. I posted a sneak peek right after their wedding and I've finally had a chance to sit down and pick my favorites from all the wonderful moments of their big day. It was hard to pick just a few to share because Adrienne is stunning...every photo was simply beautiful.
Adrienne got ready at home so I had a chance to photograph her rings with some of the things she and Jordan have in their home. They had a cool display of the corks from the wines they have shared together.
Adrienne's dress practically glows in the window of her bedroom and her Vince Camuto's were perfectly matched to her dress.
Mom helped her get her dress on at the museum.
 Love this!
Adrienne checks her reflection one last time in the mirror before going to meet her groom.
Adrienne and Jordan had a beautiful first look in the ceremony room. I love being the only other person in the room to see the bride and groom's reactions during a first look. It's priceless. Look at their body language and facial expressions. This is the happiest moment of all :)
They each wrote a letter to the other and sat down at the front of the room to read them. I haven't seen this before. Love it! What a wonderful way to not only say all those things that are in your heart, but you also have a printed reminder to look back on and read in the years to come to remember exactly how you were feeling on your wedding day. It's perfect.
Since they did a first look a few hours before their wedding we had all kinds of time to make amazing photos. How fun is this?
Inside the museum ...and outside. We had time to walk all over and just have fun.
I like this one a lot.
We had the wedding party join us for a while.
The girls were amazing. Those purple dresses rock!
And the guys were perfectly handsome.
This ones fun. The best man and maid of honor held the doors open for us so we could shoot Adrienne and Jordan with the neon pegasus inside the museum using the light from outside on them.
Then we took a break and it was time for the ceremony. The flowers were gorgeous.
Love dad's expression and Adrienne's too as they walk down the aisle.
I love rooms full of beautiful light where we can get a few different angles of the ceremony.
 So happy!
Everyone held their arms out during the blessing.
The kiss! Check out the ring bearer...his eyes are trained on them.  Super cute!
So this...this might be my favorite photo ever. They have a mock courtroom at the museum and I walked in and the ring bearer was sitting in the judges chair with the marriage license. He's so serious! Love it!
 A few reception details
 First dance
Dance with dad and dance with mom. Again I love this expressions.
They had their cake cutting on the stairs and the cake was ginormous! It's like a dream cake for me :). Six layers of vanilla cake with buttercream...I mean, what else could a girl ask for?
Love this couple too...I photographed this wedding a few years ago and they are just as happy and fun now as they were on their wedding day. Love you guys Leslie and Andrew!
It was an awseome dance party.
 The wobble
A sweet moment during the last dance. Not only do I like the way Jordan is holding his beautiful bride, look at mom and dad dancing in the background and dad is so proud. It makes my heart smile.
They left to a shower of rose petals. Ahhh...perfect end to a perfect day.
Congratulations Adrienne and Jordan! May every day be as happy as your wedding day :)

Josh = Sunset Superstar

I've been wanting to photograph Josh and his dirt bike for a while now. Well...he's a senior this year so it's the perfect time. We went out this evening, found an overgrown lot...I don't think anyone lived there. The gate was open and the house looked abandoned so we set up a few minutes before sunset and had a little fun.
Love these without the helmet.
 Cool eyes.
 With the whole uniform on.
Another favorite. Josh was a fabulous model.
Finally...sunset. Isn't that sky amazing?

Erin + Jared = Happily Ever After

A few weeks ago Erin and Jared got married at the Victory Arts Center in Fort Worth. It's such a cool vintage venue and it was perfect for their amazing wedding.
I'll start off with the beautiful building and the vintage convertible Rolls Royce they left in. It was so cool parked out in front of the building all day so the guests could see it as they arrived.
 Erin's beautiful dress.
Something blue...and I love the way the ankle straps just fell into the shape of a heart.
A few vintage accessories like the sequined clutch her grandmother carried on her wedding day.
 Amazing flowers.
Just a fun shot of the girls getting ready. Erin was trying to keep her balance as they fluffed all the tulle under the skirt and buttoned the back of her dress at the same time.
The ceremony room was filled with beautiful light, gorgeous wood floors and and impressive painted ceiling. Wow!
I love this series. Forst Erin anxiously peers around the doorway from the brides room while waiting with her dad, then Jared the moment they open the doors and Erin's smile as she walks down the aisle. Priceless expressions.
I love the way they look at each other. :)
The light in this room was pretty amazing.
 The flowers were gorgeous.
 Married!
 The gorgeous girls.
 The handsome guys.
The wedding party was super fun.
 See...I told you so!
 Some alone time.
Erin and Jared totally rocked the shoes and socks :)
 Some reception details
 Their rings in the doors.
 The Cakes.
 The entrance and first dance.
I love how happy they are.
there was a big heart made out of rose petals on the dance floor, and they danced around it for their first dance and took a bow at the end. So romantic.
 The toasts.
I love this. Really, really, really...love this.
Party time! Isn't this little man adorable in his daddy's tie? Oh...and Jared is having a great time dancing with the bridesmaids.
It was a great party all night.
 Sparkler exit.
 Just married :)
Congratulations Erin and Jared! I hope you love your photos :)
