Aaron and Wynne Engaged!

This evening I spent a few hours with Aaron and Wynne. They are getting married later this year and came to Dallas/Fort Worth to take their engagement portraits. So. Much. Fun.

Here's a little sneak peek:
 Aren't they a beautiful couple?
We had fun exploring and finding places to take photos. I love all the green in these two photos it feels so fresh like new love :)
Of course we have to show off the bling!
I love this staircase and they were great sports climbing all over it for me. This is like a photo booth sequence...Sweet, Silly, Sexy. Love it!
Finally you can't come to Texas and not photograph the sunset. We were actually headed somewhere else when I saw this little hill with tall grass growing on it and I pulled into a gas station and we hopped out and ran up the hill. It was perfect timing and anyone who's ever gone on a photo shoot with me know what happens when I see something that inspires me...we just pull over, hop out and shoot. :)
Thanks Aaron and Wynne for coming all the way to Texas for your photo shoot. I hope you love your photos and I can't wait for your wedding!

Trevor...The Original.

Last night Trevor and his mom and I hung out for a few hours to capture his senior portraits. Trevor is not your typical senior. He's an artist, a musician, and honestly one of the most creative kids I know. His senior portraits were a challenge for me because Trevor is so artistic and creative himself. He's one of my students and I've know him for three years now so it was easy for me to capture the "real" Trevor. Here are the highlights.
We had to show off his new tats and his tunnels. I thinks he got the tattoos about a month ago and he's had the tunnels as long as I've known him. He always has fun with it. I remember the first day he was back in class after getting his tattoos he let Lucas "slap them in". Hilarious. Love this kid!
He plays the euphonium in marching band...
...and he's an amazing photographer.
He is...The Original.
I always love a little James Dean retro photo.
 I love this one.
With some fun lights at the Fort Worth Water Gardens.
We had to do something cool with his cap and gown so we went with the line of lights outside as opposed to the traditional inside studio cap and gown shots, and finally since he's into music we stopped at the Jazz Lounge with the cool neon lights to end of our session.
Thanks Trevor for choosing me to shoot your senior portraits. I'm honored. Kids like you are one in a million, and I've been lucky to be your teacher for 3 years. I'm so proud of all your accomplishments. I can't wait to see where your future leads you. Someday I'll me able to say I knew you when :) That's my good thing for today.

Colbie!

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Colbie and her fabulous parents. We played in the park for an hour or so...here are my favorites.
Meet Colbie. She's got the hollywood hair blow and some amazing blue eyes.
She was lots of fun to photograph.
 Look at those eyes! Amazing.
A little fun with dad and mom. They are awesome by the way.
 The whole family.
 Something different.
My favorite one from the day. I love that path through the tall grass and all the green surrounding them. So pretty :)

Exquisite Enon

I've finally finished editing Enon's Granbury Senior Session. She was so much fun that we got an amazing variety of great photos. Here are the highlights
We started at Shanley park where there is a cool green metal staircase and this fun tree.
Another tree photo. Enon was a good sport climbing all over the trees for me.
I love her eyes in this one.
 Two more of my favorites.
 And a caboose :)
Here she is with the courthouse in the background wearing her letter jacket.
I love this sign and I've been waiting for someone to photograph in front of it.
Enon has this gorgeous silver convertible. Love it. This photo is so retro hollywood.
Simply gorgeous! Beautiful girl. Beautiful car. Beautiful Texas sunset. What more could I ask for?
Thanks Enon. I hope you love your photos!

Enon - Granbury Senior Portraits

Yesterday I spent the evening with the lovely and talented Enon in Granbury. We explored the town and took some super fun senior portraits. Here's a sneak peek.
I love the combination of her orange shirt and the blue wall. Isn't she beautiful?
Did you notice her belt. Love it!
These are just of few of the amazing photos we took...more to come in the next few days!

Courtney and Justin are having a baby :)

This morning Courtney and Justin took advantage of my bluebonnet mini-sessions for some pre-baby maternity photos. We had so much fun and they even brought along their dog Shiner. Here's a little sneak peek :)
I really love this bluebonnet field. It's amazing.
 Baby's coming soon :)
 Love this one
A silhouette and a romantic moment in the flowers.
 ...and the cute puppy!
Thanks for spending the morning with me Courtney and Justin! I hope you love your photos.
