Monica & Brandon's Day After Session

Ahhh...I'm in love with the photos Monica and Brandon and I took today. Their wedding was in the evening and they are a traditional couple who didn't want to see each other before the wedding so there was no daylight to take portraits with after the ceremony...they agreed to get dressed up again to meet me today and we made some amazing photos. I love, love, LOVE  their day after photos. Here's a quick peek :)
Brandon wore a shirt with the wedding date embroidered on one cuff and "I do" on the other.
They are so happy. I love the day after session because the bride and groom aren't worried about time and getting to the reception and it's just so relaxed and easy to make great photos.
A few in the trees and showing off her shoes.
Monica and Brandon can totally rock the serious face.
These two are my favorites. Absolute perfection.
 A cute one.
 Love.
Congratulations Monica and Brandon! I'll have the rest of your photos edited soon.

Monica & Brandon are Married!

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing Monica and Brandon's wedding at the Mediterranean Villa in Arlington. What a beautiful sweet couple they are. Here's a peek at their day.
You know I'm going to start with the bling :) Her ring is gorgeous.
Just before the ceremony they got together for a blindfolded first touch. How sweet is that. I love that the had a little chance to connect before walking down the aisle.
They see each other for the first time.
Monica started crying just before so got to Brandon. Love that.
Making sure that ring is all the way on :) It was such a pretty venue, the chandeliers were amazing.
There is nothing better than that smile right there. Just married!
 The Kiss!
 First dance.
Another sweet moment as Brandon wipes away a tear during their first dance.
 Love that smile.
And finally some alone time. Congratulations Monica and Brandon. I'll have the rest of your photos edited for you soon!

Ryan's Amazing Bar Mitzvah

Yesterday I got to send the day with Ryan and his family at Temple Emanu-El and the Perot Museum. Here's a peek...
This is Ryan. He's pretty awesome.
And his family is too.
His cousins are sure cute.
Love this one...he's a pretty serious guy.
A few photos with the Torah.
The whole family on the Bima
The reception was at the Perot Museum and it was stunning. Pepi from A Little Help Event Planning did a great job decorating and getting it all set up in the shot window you get to set up a party there after the museum closes for the day.
The kids side of the party and the adults side of the party.
When the kids go to the Mueseum they had some time to play in the Sports Hall
And there was a magician to entertain them as well.
The montage was played on the big screen in the Museum Lobby.
Ryan and his best friend Harrison watch the montage.
I found dad sitting on the floor watching the slideshow.
Ryan's little brother and his friends tore up the dance floor all night.
DJ P Love and Fenton kept the party rocking.
They had a cool slo-motion video booth. Table 4 had a pretty good time making their slow-mo video with Jason and his assistant from Elixir Entertainment. Jason did the party video as well.
They had some games for the kids who didn't want to dance.
 The hula hoop competition semifinals.
The finals...these kids take their hula hoop competition seriously :) The ladies won this weeks prize.
Mother Son dance.
Time for the Hora.
and everyone goes up in the chair!
Linda and Fenton were in the zone dancing.
Love this shot of dad and little brother.
At the end of the night they hopped up with the dinosaur for a quick photo.
 Congrats Ryan!
