The Gamell Family - Mansfield Family Portraits

The day after Thanksgiving I met this wonderful family at a local park for a fun session. You will not believe how adorable these kids are...take a look and see for yourself.

This is one of my favorites. We took quite a few posed family portraits but I love this candid walk in the park moment.
Here are all the adorable kids. 1, 3, 5, & 7. Could it be any more perfect?
Meet Harmony...she's one. One adorable little girl. I mean seriously, look at that sweet expression. LOVE!
This gorgeous little girl is Sakeena. She love sticks, by the way, and she looks absolutely regal in profile.
and this...this is Rivers. He's quite the handsome young man, don't you think?
Finally the oldest, Patience. She had her modeling moves going on, and she did a fabulous job. Beautiful.
...and don;t forget about mom and dad. :)
A few more family portraits with everyone.
 This family is awesome.
Thanks for having me take your precious family portraits. I hope you love them.

Erin & Brad are Married!

Last night Erin and Brad got married at St Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington. It was amazing. Here's a little peek :)
Aren't they beautiful? We took these in the courtyard right after their service.
Theses are two of my favorites. They are such a sweet couple, these photo fit them perfectly.
Congratulations Erin and Brad. I'll have the rest of your wedding edited soon!

Carson

This evening I photographed the amazing Carson in Fort Worth. He's editor of the yearbook at Mansfield High School, he's a photographer...and a swimmer...and an all around great guy. Here's a little peek at some of the senior photos we captured.
Meet Carson. He's awesome. Did I already tell you that?
He totally rocked the letter jacket photos.
These are two of my favorites.
A little black and white reflection of the photographer.
 ...and a little bokeh.
Carson siad he wanted some neon photos so we waited until it was dark and tried a few different places. I love the color in these two photos.
Thanks for modeling for me Carson! I'll have your session edited in a few days :)

Cowboys vs Browns

I got to photography the Dallas Cowboys vs Cleveland Browns today. Super fun :) It was a crazy ending and I can't remember ever shooting an overtime NFL game before. Here are a few places I've already seen my photos :)
I've never seen this one before. It's called AP: The Big Story.
Three in the News-Herald. I especially like that pass play...
 The Albuquerque Journal
 The Austin American-Statesman
 The Greenwich Time
 Huffington Post
 Wichita Eagle
NFL.com Week 11 slideshow. There were photos on the front page during the game but they switch those out as the game goes on and since I'm shooting...I can't be saving clips on the web.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer. I had several other photos on their site during the game that they replaced with their own staffer photos post game. I have three google alerts from the Plain Dealer during the game but when I went to look it was all staffer photos on the pages...Interesting.
 San Antonio Express News.
 Vancouver Sun
and the game winner on Yhoo News :)
I so love shooting sports.

Emily and Anthony are Married!

Last night I had the honor of photographing Emily and Anthony's wedding. It was such an amazing evening. Here's a little peek of their wedding at the Marty Leonard Chapel and their reception at the Petroleum Club. Enjoy!
The bling!
They did a first look and it was so emotional. I love the first look, especially for a fall or winter wedding when the sun sets early. We had about 20 minutes of pretty light after their first look to take fun photos outside before it got dark. Their expressions are priceless.
 Love this.
When she stepped back to look at him Emily just could not stop crying, made me cry too. So sweet.
So right after their first look we took some photos outside in front of the chapel.
 So much fun.
45 minutes later...their ceremony took place inside and the room was golden. I've done many weddings in Marty Leonard Chapel during the day, but at night it looks completely different. The light is so rich and elegant.
 Its official :)
Emily and Anthony met in Band at Summit High school so they had a band at their reception. The Marc Toussaint Combo played amazing music all evening. It was perfect for them.
After the reception we went out and took a few more couple photos. You only get one wedding day...why not take advantage of every photo opportunity, right? :)
 My favorite...
Congratulations Emily and Anthony! I'll have the rest of your photos edited soon!

Ethan and Lucy

I'm trying to catch up on some blogging because you won't believe this...but I'm caught up on my editing :) Until tomorrow. A few weeks ago I photographed two of my favorite kiddos. Ethan and Lucy..and thier awesome parents of course, but as always the kids stole the show. I have no idea what they had for breakfast before we had out shoot but I think it was some magic combination of carbs, sugar and love...Ethan and Lucy were on their modeling game the day we took photos.

Here's a little peek.
Could you ask for cuter kids? No way!
Mom and Dad both graduated from TCU and dad works at the TCU magazine (you should go over there an like them on facebook by the way...one from this series is their cover photo) and he had a couple of magazine with him when we did our shoot. How cute is this?
So we started out on the steps at Robert Carr Chapel where mom and dad got married. You know how I love taking portraits in a place that means something to you. and Lucy was just as sweet as can be, her body language just makes these photos.
They are such sweet loving kids.
A few closeups of each one.
Ethan found this little stairwell where the light was making a pattern on the wall and wanted his photo shot there. I think he's already got an eye for composition.
 A little mommy daughter time...
 ...and father son time.
Finally we stopped at the Frog. You can't go wrong taking photos by the frog wearing game day clothes.
Last one, and I LOVE this one. I told Ethan to show me his muscles and Lucy just looked at him with the most perfect expression. I think this is the exact same look I would have given my brother. Absolutely Perfect.
I hope you love your photos :) Thanks for modeling for me!
