Kaylee and Chase

A few weeks ago Kaylee and Chase got married at The Orchard in Azle and I was lucky enough to be their photographer. It was an amazing day full of fun and laughter. I love those kinds of weddings :)

We started out at Serenity Day Spa in Azle where all the girls got manicures, pedicures, hair and make-up. Kaylee's phone so nicely alerted her that it was her wedding day.
A cute shot of the girls getting ready.
They had a little champagne toast in these super cute glasses Kaylee got them all as bridesmaids gifts.
I love the crazy juxtaposition of this one where you can see Kaylee getting her hair done in the mirror and one of her bridesmaids is getting her hair done on the other side.
 Make-up.
Then it was off to the venue for Kaylee to get ready. Her mother's "old" ring, "borrowed" pearl bracelet, "new" necklace and earrings and "blue" stitched boots.
 The dress.
 Garter and boots.
Getting into the dress with a little help from her girls.
Love the angle of this one.
 A few ceremony details.
Chase at the moment he sees his beautiful bride walking down the path with her father. It was a really beautiful moment.
This was sweet, as she got to the end of the aisle, her mom and stepdad have their arms around each other. Love it!
 Vows.
What a gorgeous venue for a wedding. I love outdoor weddings where there's a little room to roam and get different shots.
The groomsmen played a little joke with the rings and Chase was glad to finally have them in his hand.
 Speaking of the rings...
The kiss and a sweet moment captured by my wonderful assistant as they left the ceremony.
The girls show off their boots.
The guys wore vests without jackets which was perfect for a hot summer afternoon.
The wedding party was a lot of fun.
 Some alone time.
 A little flare.
 Love this one.
There were some hay bales on the road leading to the venue so we hopped in a car and went out there for a few quick shots. Totally worth it :)
A few reception details. Chases mom really made the place look great with blue and white checked tablecloths, yellow bandannas for napkins and mason jars to drink from. There were giant sunflowers everywhere and you would not believe how fast the room came together. Everyone had a job and it was magic.
Fist dance. I like this different crop. It makes me happy.
 And they are happy!
 and sweet :)
 Dance with dad...
...and dance with mom. I have no idea how Darlene did not burst into tears as her other son played the ukulele and sang "Forever Young". It was pretty amazing. I admit, I was crying.
The toasts were fun as we got to watch Kaylee and Chase's reactions.
The cake was gorgeous, and tasty ;) They were very nice to each other when they cut the bride's cake, but they really went for it with the groom's cake. Fun!
Then they danced the night away.
Time for the garter toss and I love their expressions. They were having so much fun.
Of course the Aggies have to play the War Hymn.
And the Longhorns...well they stood silently and held up their own signs while the Aggies sang and danced.
Kaylee and Chase took a moment in the photo booth before their last dance.
I always love the last dance :)
 Sparkler exit.
 Kiss in the car.
 Just married!
Afterwards we went to the Omni in Fort Worth where they were staying and took a few late night photos. I didn't plan this, in fact I didn't even see it until I was editing. It was a perfect wedding.
They got up to the room and jumped on the bed. Best ever!
 The mirror was great.
They put their feet up after a long day.
And this is my very favorite from the day. Ahhh...love.
Congratulations Kaylee and Chase. I hope you love all your photos.
