Published Photos :)

It's that time of year when I get busy with sports. Yay...I love shooting game action on the filed. Last Saturday I shot the Dallas Cowboys vs Cincinnati Bengals football game after shooting the TCU alumni volleyball game earlier in the day. Here are a few published photos for that and at the end...some Yankees Rangers baseball I shot a few weeks ago. Ahh...love some baseball and I got to get up close and personal with the last remaining player to wear 42. The only thing that would have been better was id Mariano had gotten to pitch that game. He's a legend.

Peace and Nathan are Married!

Tonight Peace and Nathan got married. It was gorgeous. Here's a peek at their Bella Donna Chapel wedding and Eldorado Country Club reception.

First, the rings. Here engagement ring with her sparkly shoes and all three rings tucked into her dress.

Nathan sees Peace as she walks in with her father.

 This is the sweetest moment ever. After Peace and Nathan made their vows to each other, they made vows to their son. Peace started to cry and both her son and her reached out to her. LOVE!

 The chapel is beautiful and so is their first kiss.

I kiss in the doorway as they leave the chapel.

 When we got to the reception we had a little time to take a few more fun photos while the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour. Love this one!

 So the wedding and the beginning of the reception was American style and the end of the night was a Nigerian Party. I made sure to get family portraits in both outfits.

They had super cool red uplighting so I thought it would be fun to shoot a silhouette of Peace and Nathan in both of their different outfits.

Congratulations Peace and Nathan! Your wedding was fabulous!

Brady is one!

It seems like just yesterday that I was photographing Brady's newborn photos but it was a year ago. He's commando crawling now, saying simple words and I bet by the time I see him again he'll be running all over the place. His commando army crawl is the cutest thing ever though...he really can move!

So here's the birthday boy with his awesome mommy and daddy.

 He's all about the football and mom found this super cute shirt for him to wear.

 We also played with some balloons which Brady loved. I think the photo with the 1st Birthday balloon was the only moment he really sat still all day. This little man can move and he had so much fun playing with the balloons.

 I love this one.

 Of course we had to do a little smashcake. The Sprinkle Cake is from Leah's Sweet Treats in Fort Worth and she's awesome. I've had her cupcakes at several events and they are just out of this world. This little series of photos is so cute. Brady was a little inquisitive at the beginning, having a blast in the middle and by the end...showing off the sprinkles on his feet. What a cutie!

 After the cake we took a little bath in the sink and mom brought this cute little hooded towel. I'm in love with this sweet little face :)

 Finally, for those of you that know this family...do you see a resemblance here? Honestly I feel like I'm looking right at a baby photo of Kent. Amazing.

You know how I love to see my name in print. Really, I do. And I love to share what I've been doing so here's another little post with some photos that have been published. It's not all glamorous but that's OK by me...every assignment makes me a better photographer.

That being said...I'll start off with a glamorous one. The cover, yes the COVER, of the Sporting News with a Jason Garrett photo I took at a Dallas Cowboys game last season. I love when I google myself and stuff like this pops up. You google yourself, don;t you? You should.

Here's another glamorous one. This is Emmanuel Mudiay. He's the number one high school basketball player in America. I got a call on Thursday that he was playing in a tournament in Duncanville, could I pop over there and get a portrait of him for a magazine cover. This obviously isn't the cover shot since a magazine is vertical...I'll save that for when the magazine is published. Basically I show up, ask around to find someone who knows him because I don't have any contact information for him. Everyone knew him. When he go there, I told him what I wanted, game was starting in about 5 minutes, I got 3 and a half to set up and take a cover shot of him in a makeshift locker room with the rest of his teammates changing clothes all around us. That was only a bit awkward. The really interesting thing was listening to the crowd as I followed him through the gym to the changing room. All around us you could hear people whispering his name. I guess that's what it's like to be a celebrity at 17. I'll never be famous, but hey...I rocked this shot.

 Here's one I don't get to see very often anymore. Actual newsprint. Wow. I got called about an hour before this event that this sweet little girl with brain cancer had wished for snow and a local organization was planning to fill her yard with "snow". I miss journalism so much. I love that spur of the moment running to a story and working to get "The Shot".  It ran metro centerpiece...it's been a long time since I've used those words in my vocabulary :)

 The TCU football fact book is out. I know you are expecting to see action here but I don't often shoot TCU football for the department that puts together the fact book...I do shoot head shots and facility shots for them though. And I still get to shoot football :)

 Finally...click! I shot a few group photos for the different debutant groups in Fort Worth this year and they ran in the paper Friday. These are the Steeplechase and Assembly Debutantes for this year. I'll bee seeing them again at their ball :)
