Tonight I got to photograph the Dallas Stars vs Columbus Blue Jackets game...for just over 6 minutes. One of the players had a medical emergency and they suspended the game. In all my years shooting sports I've never seen that happen. I was shocked. Rich Peverly was taken from the bench, treated and transported to a hospital and I photographed the reaction. I hope that this never happens again. Rich is OK according to news reports but it was pretty scary there at the arena for a while.
