Kelsi's dress was right out of a fairy tale. The bodice was covered in flowers and the skirt was all tulle. Gorgeous!
Her jewelry...love it!
She wore boots and had a burlap garter (and an Aggie one too!).
and a fabulous bouquet with flowing ribbons.
Her sister held on to Brandon's ring until the ceremony.
Time to get ready! The large mirror in the dressing room is new. It wasn't here last time I shot at Modeana and I'm glad they added it. It really made for some beautiful images in a small space.
Love this moment with mom.
Kelsi's girls help tie her bow.
And then dad get's to see his little girl for the first time in her wedding dress. I love it when brides do this...keep the dress a secret from everyone until the big day. you know there aren't that many real surprises in life...I'm just saying. You can't fake this kind of emotion.
Then, Kelsi and Brandon had a first look that I posted the day after the wedding. You can see it here. So we had tons of time to take fun wedding party and couple photos. The first look isn't for everyone, but I love it when a couple chooses to have a first look...it's awesome!
The fun wedding party who did everything I asked them to do...and totally rocked it!
The fabulous girls
The awesome guys.
And my beautiful bride and handsome groom.
A few fun couple photos.
Ceremony details.
Even though Brandon had already seen Kelsi, he still got a little emotional when her saw her walking down the aisle with her dad.
Dad held it together until he was about halfway down the aisle...and then everyone was tearing up.
...and then laughing. I love weddings where people laugh and cry happy tears.
Kelsi gave her dad his credit card back.
Then he hugged Brandon, hugged Kelsi and they got hitched :)
I love outdoor weddings because there is room to move around a little and you can get different angles of the bride and groom. Sometimes at an indoor wedding there's really no way to move with being a distraction or you aren't allowed to go anywhere except in the balcony or straight down the aisle. I love having a little creative freedom.
but there's still some photos you just need to see straight down the aisle :)
Brandon and Kelsi had so much fun during their service and really put their personalities into it. I love this series of laughs, smiles, and looks. The moments here are priceless.
The kiss!
Then we took afew more photos of the bride and groom so that everyone could get into the reception, get a drink and get settled before Kelsi and Brandon made their grand entrance. Oh...and the light was perfect and I am not one to pass up perfect light.
Reception Details.
First dance.
Dance with dad...who really wanted to do the chicken dance :)
Cake...and they had Nothing Bundt Cake. Three of them stacked together for their wedding cake. Yum! and then lots of little bundtlets in different flavors as well as a chocolate groom's cake, some cookies and cheesecake. I loved their little smorgasbord of sweets! Honestly, I only ate one piece of wedding cake...and Kelli told me to take a bundlet home, who am I to tell the mother of the bride no?
Bouquet toss.
Brandon was so fun getting the garter.
A few party photos.
And it's time to go!
Ok, not really :) Kelsi wnet up and changed into her going away dress after the sparkler exit and they had a little more party and we took a few more pics before they really headed off.
Congratulations Kelsi and Brandon! I wish you a wonderful life together.
Thank you, Thank you so much for being the great photographer you really are. These are beautiful pictures or our beautiful children.
