More Scrapbook Pages

I know I'm a year behind but hey...one year isn't too bad, right? This week I used two awesome kits designed by Vicki to scrap last years holiday festivities. She released the kits in her store at Scrap That Idea today so you can get them too.

This is last year's Christmas Tree in downtown Fort Worth and I made the page using the Jolly Christmas kit. I love this kit. It might me my favorite so far. I'm into non-traditional holiday colors this year (wait until you see my Christmas Card!) so the teal and lime green made me happy. I love the silly photos of me too. Yes my husband puts up with me ;)

Breakfast with Santa was scrapped using Christmas Time. It's a more traditional kit with reds and dark greens. I like the sloppy border paper in the kit. It rocks.

Get Jolly Christmas at Scrap That Idea here.

and get Christmas Time free when you buy Jolly Christmas. What a deal. You can buy it here too if you don't want both kits.

Cool Stuff at Scrap That Idea

This month at Scrap That Idea you can get a beautiful collaboration kit called Christmas Past. Lots of traditional reds and greens. I scrapped my photos from last year's family Christmas with it. Love those glittery swirls. My husband hates and I mean HATES real glitter that gets all over the house, which I of course love, but I can put all the glitter I want on my digital pages :)

Here's the full kit. I just used a tiny sampling of it to create my page. Go get it at Scrap That Idea.

They also have a new kit called Winter Chill. I love the blues in this one and the snowflake paper is super cute. This is a page from last January when it actually snowed in DFW. Normally we get ice but we got real snow. Annie was not sure what to think about it at all.

You can get Winter Chill totally free if you spend $5 this month. What a deal. Get Winter Chill here.

Scrapbooking :)

I don't know if I mentioned that I was asked to join Vicki's Creative Team for a few months. Yay! She released a new digital kit today and it's really nice and she even put my page up on her blog :) You can see my page here and pages from the other designers there. I like the color palette and the alphas are amazing. I'll probably use them over and over again! I had these photos on my hard drive waiting for inspiration to scrap them and when I opened up this kit it hit me. I love when that happens :) Oh and I love steak night with my family...espacially when there is cake at the end ;)

Here's the full kit. You can get it at Plain DIgital Wrapper.

Scrapbooking

As you know I love scrapbooking but what you might not know is that recently I was asked to be part of a digital scrapbooking creative team. I've wanted to do this for quite a while and I applied for quite a few teams over the past two years and last week Mel Hains asked me to join her team. YAY!

So basically she sends me the links to the kits she designs and I get to play with them and create pages to show off her designs. It's a lot of fun and hopefully it will help me catch up on my personal scrapbooking. I'm over a year behind at this point!

The first kit I made a page for is Wanderlust. It a collaboration between Mel and another designer I love, Vicki Parker.

This is a page from our trip to New York LAST October ;) Like I said, I'm a year behind but I'll eventually get caught up, right? I love the colors in this kit. We all know I'm a fan of red! But there's a super cute little camera element that i see being used on lots of my scrapbook pages. What do you think?

Here's the whole kit. You can buy it here at Scrap That Idea.
