Isaac - Fort Worth Baby Portraits

Today I got to hang out with Isaac in my new studio. He's a cutie!
Love that smile. Isn't he adorable?
He's got great eyes and a perfect little pout too!
My new studio is so awesome. I love that I have lots of backgrounds to give you lots of options for an indoor...and much cooler photo, session this summer. Can you believe how hot it's been lately? We just finished painting the floor, and the metal wall is in and looks fantastic. The brick wall has been cleaned and coated so there are no more crazy reflections. Want to schedule a session? I'm running a What you Want Wednesday special where you book your session on Wednesday in July and it's only $150. Bring what you want, who you want, choose the background you want and we will make some beautiful photos! Email me to book for July 6th or 20th now.

Jordi's Fort Worth Bat Mitzvah

Last night I got to spend the evening with a fabulous group of kids celebrating Jordi's Bat Mitzvah. She's awesome and so are her parents who planned a pretty amazing party at Temple Beth El in Fort Worth. Here are the highlights.

I'll start with the cake and the fantastic lighting. The room was glowing pink, purple and blue all night long. How cool is that? And the cake? Ahh...mazing. There were several different layers. you know I had a piece. It was peanut butter with chocolate icing. Yum!
Jordi's grand entrance and welcoming her friends to the party.
Running down the line of her friends.
There was a hula hop competition.
Flip books made by WOW vip events. Everyone loved making these!
And DJ Patrick "P-Love" Alston and the dancers kept the kids dancing all night.
The Soulja Boy.
Don't Stop Believin'
They were all having a great time all night.

Then there were the snowball dances. I love these. If you don't know what a snowball dance is the bat mitzvah chooses someone to dance with and they dance for a minute or so until the DJ calls "snowball" then they each have to pick a new partner. The new couple dances for a minute or so and the DJ calls "snowball" again and all the kids have to find a new partner and the process "snowballs" until all the kids are slow dancing. It's fun. Don;t you love the kids faces in the background here :) Boys on one side, girls on the other. So fun!
Snowball!
Snowball!
SNOWBALL!
We love Jordi!
Mom, her sisters and grandma dancing and practicing The Hora.
Dad, grandma and brother were all dancing too.
So the music wasn't quite ready when it was time to do The Hora so the family put Jordi in the center and started circling around her to a different song. That was cool.
The Hora! I love her expression. She's having a great time.
Mazel Tov Jordi! I hope you love all your photos.

Nancy and Roy, 50 years.

Last week I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Nancy and Roy and their closest friends and family as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful couple with amazing stories. Their maid of honor and best man from their wedding were at the party to help tell the story of their wedding day. It was sweet, romantic and inspiring.

The tables were set under the trees.
Each table was set with china from one member of the family. Beautiful.
Dinner was cooked on a chuckwagon.
 I love these two photos.
Their daughters are both so awesome. I love these nice sweet moments.
They had the original cake topper from their wedding cake on top of their 50th anniversary cake :)
 Such a wonderful couple.
Congratulations on 50 years!

Ahh...what a wonderful weekend it's been and to top it off Beth and Don were married in a beautiful ceremony at the Northeast Wedding Chapel just a few hours ago. Here's a little sneak peek for you :)

The bling and the gorgeous flowers. Beth's bouquet had a tutu! Super cute.
A funny moment during the ceremony.
And a few portraits of the lovely couple.
Thanks for choosing me to be your photographer. I loved being a part for your special day! I should have the rest of your photos online for you soon.

Beth and Don are getting married!

I am so excited for tomorrow! Beth and Don will be getting married and it's going to be so much fun.

Mom and Dad peek out the front door of the chapel to make sure everyone's inside and ready to go for the rehearsal and Don and his groomsmen file in and wait for the girls to come down the aisle.
Wedding Coordinator Extraordinaire Tami Winn talks the ring bearer and flower girl into walking down the aisle separately.
Kent and Beth practice the walk :) Love that smile!
 The hand off.
 Mom's taking in all in.
Notice how the chapel ceiling makes a "W"? Thats for the Wonderful Worley Wedding Weekend :) Yes, I'm crazy but it's true...it's a wonderful weekend for a wedding. Gotta practice the kiss too.
Mom and dad danced their way back out of the chapel. They're so fun. I love them.
After the run through everyone sat on the edges of the aisle so the flower girl could practice handing out the flowers. Here, she's giving one to the groom. What a cutie!
Off to the rehearsal dinner and Falyn gives her Dad a kiss as Rachel watches. Too sweet.
Congratulations Beth Don and Falyn! Tomorrow's going to be fun!

Pamela and Dennis are Married!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Pam and Dennis' wedding in Dallas at Christ the King Catholic Church. So amazing. They are a gorgeous couple and this church is simply amazing. Their reception was at the Dallas Museum of Art in the Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant and it was spectacular. They had an amazing group of vendors. The flowers were by Freesia. Emily at Blessed Unions was the wedding planner and Colleen kept everyone on schedule at the church. The cake was from Romano's Bakery and DJ Big J kept the party dancing all night. They also had Pic Flips making these super cool favors for all the guests. My two assistants did a great job...here are the highlights.

They have 5 "P"'s in their names so Pamela has created this little logo to represent them.
Another shot of the rings because they are really beautiful, His has a wooden inlay and hers is just gorgeous.
The flower girl was the cutest.
Pam's shoes and dress.
I love this shot of her getting ready in two mirrors.
This one is nice too where her new sister-in-law is watching her get make-up finished in the bride's room at the church.
A moment with Mom just before putting on the dress.
A tear filled moment with Dad just after putting on the dress.
 The gorgeous girls.
 The awesome guys.
I loved her bouquet, especially the rosary wrapped around it. Beautiful.
I caught Mom peeking through the glass just before the ceremony :) and AP walks hi daughter down the aisle.
Christ the King is a stunning church.
Did I mention I love this church? They have some archways that open to the altar so you can see the couple from the front without being intrusive. Oh how I love this church. These shots are priceless where he's wiping away her tears and they are exchanging rings.
 The Kiss.
This was a wonderful moment right after the ceremony when they were hidden away in the bride's room before anyone else came in well except for me and she leaned into him and he looked up at the mirror across the room and his smile just says it all. It's such genuine happiness. I love everything about this photo right down to the clock in the background that says 8:15.
Some alone time at the church.
And at the DMA.
 A few reception details.
 Yes, It was pretty amazing.
 And the flowers...awesome!
 Cake.
Everyone was laughing and crying during the toasts.
Their first dance was really sweet...
 ...and fun...
...and emotional. I love this happy couple.
Pam dancing with her dad.
and PJ dancing with his mom which Pam and her Dad watch.
 The bouquet toss was fabulous.
The girls really went after it. So fun!
The garter. Love the look she's giving him.
The Bride and Groom got a chance to make a Flip Book. These were some really cool favors.
 Sparkler exit!
Pam and PJ, I hope you love your photos. Thanks for picking me to take them for you.
