Kristen's Beautiful Bridal Portraits

I always get so excited about the wedding photos that I forget to post the gorgeous bridal portraits that get taken weeks before the wedding. Well this time I'm not forgetting! Kristen's bridals are amazing and I've been waiting 5 weeks to share them...now that she's married I can :)

 She is absolutely stunning in the classic church bridals. I love love LOVE Kristen's dress.

 After the church in Dallas we went to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden to take a few outdoor photos. Love those Christian Louboutin's.

Stacie and Ron are getting married!

Last night I got to spend a little time with Stacie and Ron in Mansfield. They are a sweet couple and they were each others first kiss 35 years ago and now they are getting married...so romantic!

Then we did a quick wardrobe change and went a little deeper into the park. The sun was simple perfect peeking through the trees.

 Another quick change and we spent some time around the lake.

 I love these that we took right at the end. What a perfect day.

Logan is 2!

This week Logan's family got together to take some portraits to celebrate his 2nd birthday. He's such a handsome little man. Here's a peek :)

Kristen & Brett are Married!

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing Kristen and Brett's wedding at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas. I love this Texas Tech couple and the joy they have with each other. It's so wonderful to not only photograph a fun couple from my alma mater but to see them so perfectly happy in love...there's nothing better. Here's a little peek :)

Kristen and Brett wrote each other letter and read them while holding hands around a door just minutes before their wedding. Love this way to connect and clam just before the ceremony.

 The gorgeous girls. I'm loving the "little black dresses" they all wore. Each one was just a bit different and it looked fabulous together with the bright flowers.

 Kristen brought a frame for some of the wedding party photos. A little Pinterest inspiration, a little Modern Family-esque, and a lot of fun.

Scott's modern headshots

A few weeks ago I took some headshots for Scott. They are a little more modern than your typical in the studio plain background headshot. Love them. Pay attention here...someday Scott's going to change the world and I can say I knew him when. :) Thanks for having me take a few photos for you.

Kiri is one!

Last week I took a few photos to commemorate Kiri's one year birthday. What a difference a year makes. You can see her sweet newborn photos here.

 She's such a sweet happy little girl. She loved the balloon! I'm glad she's not walking yet because just crawling she kept me on my toes :)

Michelle & Roatha are getting married!

Last week I spent a little time with Michelle and Roatha to shoot a few engagement photos in Mansfield, Texas. Here's a peek at their morning at the park :)

They have the cutest little one-year-old...she's crawling all over the place. We did just a few photos with Kiri and then handed her off to grandma so Michelle and Roatha could have a little couple time.

 Sweet.

 I love the paths and trees at this park, it's the perfect place for a little alone time.
