Family Portraits

Alexis and Aleina are so cute and last weekend I got to hang out with them at the park and take some family portraits.

Alexis is about 6 months old and super cute.

Aleina is one of my favorite models. She loves the camera.

Conner

Last week I hung out with Conner for a few hours. He's graduating in a few days...46, not that I'm counting ;) and he's a singer and swimmer. We had a ton of fun.

Emily and Anthony are Engaged!

I am so excited to get to shoot Emily and Anthony's wedding in November. They are such a cute couple and I feel like I've known them forever. Emily was in my class and they have been dating since high school so I've never known Emily without Anthony or Anthony without Emily. Love them!

They met in the band at Summit. That's what we call "Summit LOVE!"

And now, after college they are going to the chapel and they're gonna get married ;) This is actually the chapel where they will get married. Isn't it gorgeous? I love shooting here.

I have this place I like to shoot and last week I went there for a senior portrait session and someone had taken a piece of sidewalk chalk and written the plus and the heart on the wall. It was still there when we went back Sunday so we decided to use it for our photos. Typically I'm not the kind of photographer who would draw on the wall but if someone else is going to do it for me...then I'm going to take the opportunity to take a picture. I guess I'll have to remember to take an eraser next time I go there.

 We had a lot of fun making beautiful photos here.

 And oh yeah...I LOVE this one.

 Their wedding color is teal and I scouted around and found this teal wall. I love it with the pop of green. 

 This door is a lighter version and it's just down the alley from the bold teal wall. You should never walk around with me if you don't want to stop and take photos. I get inspired by everything!

 I mean, really, there's bluebonnets, there only in bloom for two weeks, let pull over and take some photos. We didn't plan bluebonnet or even any flower in the field type photos but I could not resist.

 Finally we stopped back at the studio for a few shots. I love these guys. They are perfect and perfect for each other.

This evening I got to photograph sweet little Bennett. He's pretty adorable.

He spent most of out session wide awake showing off his big blue eyes.

He even let us put him in the basket while he was awake.

 When he finally fell asleep we got to see his perfect little pout and we were able to hold his little hand.

 This one's my favorite. I love how he's holding on to his daddy's arm. He did that all on his own :)

Kenzie!

This morning I got to spend some time with some of my favorite people :) This week was Sam's birthday so her sweet husband got her a gift certificate to have some family portraits taken with their beautiful 6 month-old baby girl. Love them!

It's almost Easter so mom brought along a basket of eggs...which Kenzie immediately dumped out :) and a cute pair of bunny ears.

The Daniel Family

Sunday morning I spent some time with the wonderful Daniel Family. They were so much fun. All the brothers and sisters were in town for a family birthday and they took that opportunity to get some priceless photos taken.

One brother couldn't make it so they brought his high school yearbook photo blown up to life size and had in in a few photos...I squealed with delight when they pulled out cutouts of all of them. I love this idea!
